In our ODDBALL GORDO items, you’ll find the advertisement Gus Arriiola sent out for his “Chili con Carne Colorado” recipe. This item is listed on ebay at https://www.ebay.com/itm/132519771400?ul_noapp=true and the owner, Shirley, tells me she has five of them.
The ebay listing for this comic book, which sold for $35, reads Gordo Comics #1 (interior indicia says “Gordo Comics #1”; top left front cover says “Comics Revue #5”) from 1948.
